Production and Stage Management Workshop

  1. Applicants must have basic theater knowledge and experience (on-campus, in community,  or elsewhere);
  2. Should be an active member of an amateur performing arts group (duly certified/endorsed by Group President or equivalent);
  3. Experience in theater in any capacity (i.e. actor, stage hand, property master, technical, etc.);
  4. Must have an interest/inclination for backstage work.

Arts Online CCP Lecture Series

ARTS ONLINE CCP Lecture Series is a bi-weekly video stream on educational materials for arts enthusiasts and students, and for greater understanding of Philippine arts and culture.

 

Cristina Sison is a 2017 Asian Cultural Council (ACC) Grant Recipient currently holding fort at the Cultural Center of the Philippines to conduct a 3-part mentoring program for Stage Managers in the Philippines. A New York resident, she is also the Production Stage Manager for the Drama Division at Juilliard, and has held this position since the year 2000. Additionally, she is also in the Advisory Board and a Founding Member of the Obie award winning Ma-Yi Theatre Company.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Cristina began her Stage Management career with the Cultural Center of the Philippines under the mentorship of the late Tony Espejo until she migrated to the U.S. in the late 80’s. She is also a professional Voice Over artist, and a proud member of the Actor’s Equity Association (AEA). Cristina holds a B.A. in Communication Arts from St. Scholastica’s College, Manila.
