The company regularly presents cultural shows at Intramuros, Manila. The company’s repertory includes Philippine folk dances and folk tales such as the Singkil, Asik, and Talambuhayni Rajah Sulayman. Hiyas ng Pilipinas Dance Troupe is founded by Lito Atienza in 2000 and is supported by the Lito Atienza Cultural Arts Foundation. Dancers receive training in folk and ballet and are given academic scholarships. Besides having their own productions, Hiyas ng Pilipinas also performs in conferences, corporate events, and in television.
