Julie Borromeo is an acclaimed pillar of dance in the Philippines. Her works in the entertainment industry, leadership and pioneering spirit in various artistic projects earned her this recognition.In 1957, she established Dance Arts Studio, which was later extended to a dance and production company. It embraced the disciplines of theater helping it grow into other fields of the performing arts, thus "Julie Borromeo’s Performing Arts Foundation, Inc.”, branched out to Chicago, Singapore and, Malaysia. Courses offered are Classical Ballet, Modern & Contemporary Jazz, Tap, Spanish Flamenco, Street Dancing, Musical Theater and Social & International Ballroom.
