Emanuel John C. Villarin holds a Bachelor of Music in Violin from Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin. He has received several awards and scholarships, including the Standard Insurance Co. "In Pursuit of Excellence" Scholarship and the Cultural Center of the Philippines Scholarship. In 2022, he was honored with the Ani ng Dangal Award for Music by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts in the Philippines. Villarin has also achieved laureate status in the Young Artist Category of the Chicago Violin Competition and earned a Silver award in the Young Artistic Category of the Singapore Raffles International Music Festival Violin Solo Competition. Additionally, he secured 1st Prize in the Advanced Strings Category of the New York Young Performers Prize in 2021 and in the Junior Strings Category of the National Music Competition for Young Artists in 2020.
