Mark Kenedy Rocas, a celebrated Filipino flutist and educator, captivates audiences with his thoughtful interpretations and masterful performances. His modest yet passionate demeanor infuses his music with sincerity, creating meaningful connections with listeners. Rocas began his musical journey at the age of nine, and his talent quickly led him to join prestigious music ensembles across the Philippines. He has participated in masterclasses with renowned international artists and won first prize at the National Music Competition for Young Artists in 2017. Currently, as a CCP Scholar, he is pursuing a Master of Music in Flute Performance under the tutelage of the internationally acclaimed flutist Sooyun Kim at the Longy School of Music of Bard College.
